Dr. Tony Koehler D.C., FIAMA
Hi, I’m Dr. Tony Koehler! I am a native to Wisconsin who relocated to this beautiful state of Arizona in 2018. Growing up, I was very active in many youth sports, so naturally, injuries were bound to happen. At 11 years old I sustained a neck and shoulder injury from a collision in football. Having an older brother who encountered similar injuries, the first place my parents took me was to the chiropractor. Ever since that initial visit, I quickly fell in love with the practice. I was introduced to a new perspective of treating the body naturally and I wanted to learn more. I enjoyed playing with the models and asking the doctor endless questions. So many questions, that the treating doctor made a comment, “You would make a great chiropractor one day!” Ever since then, chiropractic has stuck in my heart, and there was no other path for me to take.
After determining nothing felt more heartwarming than helping people through chiropractic care, I decided to become a chiropractic physician as soon as possible. With that mindset, I was able to receive my high school diploma from Arrowhead High School in 3 years, I then completed my undergraduate studies from the University of Wisconsin Whitewater in 3 years. Thus allowing me to start at Palmer College of Chiropractic. I was able to complete all my requirements a trimester early which gave me the opportunity to precept in a real operating clinic in Wisconsin. All said and done I was able to obtain my Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) certification all before the age of 25. Throughout my journey and through many mentors, I was able to see the infinite possibilities of managing pain naturally. Our bodies have amazing capabilities and contain the power to heal. With the proper chiropractic and health coaching we can achieve a healthy, pain-free life, allowing us to do the things we love to do and with the people that mean the most to us!
